Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the KaamDham platform, operated by Joshful Apps Private Limited. By creating an account or using the platform in any manner, you agree to be bound by these Terms as well as any additional policies, including the Freelancer Onboarding & Policy Guide. These Terms apply equally to Clients seeking services and Freelancers offering services.

About the Platform

KaamDham is a digital marketplace that enables Clients to hire independent service providers (“Freelancers”) for a wide range of tasks. The platform serves strictly as a facilitator, providing tools for booking, communication, and secure payments. KaamDham does not employ Freelancers, supervise their work, guarantee service outcomes, or assume responsibility for the tools, equipment, or methods they use. All agreements regarding the delivery of work are made directly between Client and Freelancer, and KaamDham is not a party to those agreements.

Eligibility and Account Requirements

To use KaamDham, users must be at least eighteen years old and capable of entering legally binding agreements. You must provide accurate and complete information during account creation and keep your details updated at all times. Creating multiple accounts, submitting false documents, or impersonating another person is strictly prohibited. KaamDham reserves the right to verify user information and may suspend or terminate access if information is found to be misleading or incomplete.

Users are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and are accountable for all actions taken under their account. If you suspect unauthorized access, you must notify KaamDham immediately.

Responsibilities of Clients

Clients must provide accurate job details, including the nature of the work, timing, location, and any special requirements. Once a booking is confirmed, Clients agree to maintain a safe and respectful working environment for the Freelancer and use the platform to manage all communication and payments. Attempting to negotiate off-platform pricing, requesting cash payments, or pressuring a Freelancer to work outside the scope agreed upon is not permitted. Clients are expected to act courteously and refrain from any form of misconduct, harassment, or discriminatory behavior.

Responsibilities of Freelancers

Freelancers operate as independent contractors and are fully responsible for the quality, safety, timing, and execution of their services. They must provide honest information in their profiles, list accurate pricing, and maintain an updated availability calendar. Freelancers are expected to honour confirmed bookings, communicate professionally with Clients, and arrive at the agreed time. Consistent cancellations, unresponsiveness, or no-show incidents may result in reduced visibility or suspension.

Freelancers are strictly prohibited from requesting or accepting payments outside the KaamDham platform. Sharing UPI details, bank accounts, or personal payment links is a violation of platform rules. Behaviour that compromises client safety—such as aggression, harassment, or misconduct—may lead to immediate removal.

Booking Methods

KaamDham offers three primary booking systems.

Instant Requests allow Clients to send urgent work requests to multiple Freelancers. Freelancers may respond with an offer, and once selected, the booking becomes immediately confirmed. Freelancers are expected to honour Instant Requests promptly, as failure to do so disrupts the reliability of the system and may lead to penalties.

Direct Bookings allow Clients to schedule structured services based on a Freelancer’s published rates and availability. Once a Client selects a time slot, the Freelancer receives a Request-to-Book. The booking is finalized only when the Freelancer approves it, after which both parties should confirm final details through the in-app chat.

Apply to Posts supports custom or detailed tasks where Clients create job posts. Freelancers may review these posts and submit an offer. Once the Client approves an offer and completes payment, the booking is confirmed, and the Freelancer is expected to complete the work as proposed.

Payments, Fees, and Payouts

All payments must occur within the KaamDham platform. Clients agree not to request or encourage offline transactions. Freelancers receive payouts once per week for all completed bookings from Monday to Sunday. A platform fee of 10% (inclusive of GST) is deducted before payout, and the remaining amount is transferred to the Freelancer’s registered bank account. KaamDham is not responsible for delays or failed transfers caused by incorrect bank information provided by the Freelancer.

Any attempt by either party to bypass platform payments constitutes a violation and may result in account suspension or permanent removal.

Cancellations and No-Show Policy

Cancellations disrupt the experience for both Clients and Freelancers. Freelancers are expected to avoid unnecessary cancellations and must honour confirmed work unless a genuine emergency occurs. Repeated cancellations harm a Freelancer’s visibility and ranking within the platform.

A no-show occurs when a Freelancer fails to arrive or start the job without notice. No-shows are treated as serious violations and may result in immediate suspension with the possibility of permanent removal. Likewise, Clients must not misuse cancellations to avoid paying for legitimate work already initiated or completed.

Communication Standards

All communication must occur within the KaamDham platform until a booking is confirmed. Users must maintain professional, respectful interactions. Offensive language, harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate personal messaging is strictly prohibited. Users must not exchange personal financial details or suggest completing work outside the platform. Any violation of communication standards may lead to account suspension.

Reviews, Ratings, and Visibility

Clients may leave reviews after a booking is completed. These reviews contribute to transparency and help other users make informed decisions. KaamDham may remove reviews that are abusive, irrelevant, or fraudulent. A Freelancer’s profile visibility is influenced by reliability, cancellations, no-shows, and service performance. Freelancers who do not list any services remain hidden from public search but may still earn through Apply to Posts or Instant Requests.

Safety and Conduct

KaamDham follows a zero-tolerance policy regarding unsafe behaviour, harassment, discrimination, or misconduct. Users must ensure safe working conditions and behave respectfully at all times. Freelancers must ensure they possess appropriate tools, equipment, and skills required for their services. KaamDham may review any reported incidents and may suspend or terminate accounts if safety standards are violated.

Limitation of Liability

KaamDham is not responsible for any damages, injuries, losses, or disputes arising during or after service delivery. Since Freelancers work independently, KaamDham does not control how services are performed and cannot guarantee outcomes or client satisfaction. Users agree that their use of the platform is at their own risk and that KaamDham’s liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Suspension and Termination

KaamDham may suspend or terminate any account that violates platform rules, including but not limited to fraudulent behaviour, unsafe conduct, harassment, repeated cancellations, no-shows, inappropriate communication, or attempts to bypass payment systems. Depending on severity, suspension may be temporary or permanent.

Updates to Terms

KaamDham may modify these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be published on the platform, and continued use after modifications indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
